Due to the fast pace of market development in today’s economy, organizational design is something companies are putting as a top priority. In the past, the organizational structure of a company has been hierarchical. This traditional design is only supported as a highly effective system by 14% of executives. However, with the rapid nature of the market, organizations are transitioning to create a structure revolving around cooperation & teams built for speed, agility and adaptability. Using the power of networks of teams, organizations can make this transition and in turn, increase their chances of competing and winning in today’s business environment.
Deloitte has conducted a study in 2017 around the topic of “the organization of the future” and among the conclusions are some surprising statistics:
94% – Companies that report agility and collaboration are critical to their organization’s success.
6% – companies that report they are highly agile today.
Evidently, there is a gap. Organizations must implement processes to increase their agility due to its clear importance. Below, there are three tools that will help with the formation and development of “the organization of the future” and more specifically, agile teams.
PI Behavioural – This assessment allows each employee to understand both their own personal drives and core behaviours, as well as their co-workers. This provides the team a guideline to quickly understand how each employee will work best, and what their strengths are so that each new team can collaborate quickly, and effectively.
PI Learning Indicator – This assessment will measure an employee or candidate’s cognitive agility in only twelve minutes. Having a certain level of cognitive agility is integral for the evolving business environment, as the capability to quickly shift from one project or mindset to the next allows you to be utilized in both different roles, and agile teams.
PI Critical Connections – This tool is effective in illustrating the different behavioural patterns of each team member, so that the strengths of all members can quickly be accessed and then utilized for the benefit of the team.
At Predictive Success, we aim to optimize and make the hiring, managing and team-building process a simple and integral part of your overall business strategy. Click here to learn how our analytics and digital tools can help you make agility apart of your workplace.
